Staff Data Engineer

Owning the architecture and technical roadmap for core data infrastructure, the full-time Staff Data Engineer will design and operate data pipelines, model supply chain data, and establish engineering standards while working remotely. Key responsibilities Own the architecture and technical roadmap for core data infrastructure on AWS, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving layers Design, build, and operate reliable batch and near-real-time data pipelines with clear SLAs and observability Model supply chain data from external ERP systems into a coherent warehouse model and lead the migration of legacy assets Required qualifications 8+ years of data or software engineering experience with significant end-to-end system ownership in production Expert-level SQL skills with the ability to write complex analytical queries and analyze query performance Strong Python proficiency for production data work, including pipeline code and transformation logic Deep experience with relational databases, particularly Postgres and Snowflake, including schema design and performance tuning Production experience running data workloads on AWS with a solid understanding of cost and security implications
