Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator – Monday‑Friday 9am‑6pm with some Saturdays. Direct hire with benefits and PTO from day one. Responsibilities Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks. Perform material handling tasks such as picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products, and other duties. Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D). Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink‑wrap material. Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast‑paced environment. Ensure a safe and secure work environment, including TSA and OSHA guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink‑wrap material. Experience using an RF scan gun is required. Previous forklift certifications preferred. Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends. Must read and comprehend work instructions well. Must work well with others with little supervision. High attention to detail required. Must lift 50+ lbs. unassisted. Must speak, read, and write in English. Previous warehouse experience preferred – 1 year experience. Physical Requirements This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time, frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, bending, and lifting objects above the head. Employees must regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts. Schedule Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. Compensation Pay Range: $20.00 to $23.00 hourly. The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
