Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse provides specialized patient care to critically ill individuals within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role involves working night shifts and floating within related hospital units to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs to manage critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement and adjust treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing advanced cardiac life support skills.
• Float within hospital units as needed, maintaining flexibility and adherence to policies.
• Maintain certification and licensure requirements, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse required at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and patient management skills.
• Flexibility to float and work some holidays as assigned.
