Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Host Company Description:
The host company is a full-service upscale hotel located adjacent to Pittsburgh International Airport. Its location provides convenient access to downtown Pittsburgh. Participants can ride the Duquesne or Monongahela Incline to Mount Washington, explore the Cultural District's theaters and galleries, walk the riverfronts and bridges, and attend sporting events at PNC Park or Acrisure Stadium.
Position Description:
- Learn all aspects of food service in an upscale hotel
- Aid in upholding the highest quality standards for the food and beverage operation
- Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
- Advance management skills and supervisory duties
Applicant Qualifications:
- To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be hospitality or restaurant management undergraduate/graduate students OR be recent graduates who begin program within 12 months of the graduation date
- To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must hold hospitality or restaurant management degrees and have at least 1 year of professional work experience related to the degree, OR be career professionals of 5 or more years of professional experience in this field
- Applicants must speak ADVANCED ENGLISH, have a positive attitude and the ability to communicate with clients and hotel associates
