We are seeking highly talented and motivated candidates to join our company where people, integrity, and excellence are essential to our culture.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for negotiating components, equipment, supplies from vendors/suppliersAccuratelyenterpurchase orders into ERP systemwith expected shipdate upon issuanceof orderImprove purchasingprocedures and controlsdocumentand implementproceduresExpedite supplyand prioritize suppliersto meet emergency,short lead time,demandsaccording to service, projectand inventorysupplyneedsWorkwith internal customersto expedite and resolve supply issuesProvide deliverydates toproject managers,service,and operationsAccountable forKey Performance Indicators (KPI’s): On Time Delivery; PO Backlog; PO Accuracy (ship date, price, account, etc.); Premium FreightQualify,source, and negotiate, with an emphasisto identifycost reduction opportunities with suppliersContinuously evaluate the performance of the current supply base, map and identify new suppliers and establish and maintain relationships with the key suppliersDaily interaction with engineering and suppliersManage sourcing activities in project phase and act as the main interface towards suppliers and internal projects during the entire project phaseBe an active member in the network of Project BuyersMeasurekeysupplier performance and drive resolution to issuesbyunderstanding suppliercapacities and capabilitiesDrive elimination of supplierdefectsreceived, and process returned material within 48 hoursJob Responsibilities:5-8 yearsof directpurchasing experience in an OEM environmentProven experience within materials management situations (inventory control, physical inventory and logistics)Strong working knowledgeof mechanical items and electrical componentsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited school or US Military in Business Administration, Materials Management, Accounting, or Logistics preferredCompetent computer skills with ERP system, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,PowerPoint)Ability to organize,evaluate,prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones and deliverablesSelf-starterand ability to multi-task in fastpaced environmentPerks:Competitive base salaryComprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Health Savings Account (with company contributions), and more$1 for $1 401k match up to 4%9 Company-paid holidaysGenerous personal time off that increases with tenureEducation assistanceEmployee referral bonus programOngoing training and development by internal and external industry expertsPureflow is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including a background check and drug test for all positions.
