Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, including pulverizers, sealers, mixers, grinders, augers, fillers, conveyors, batchers, labelers, grinding and cutting machines, dehumidification systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform effective corrective repairs.
• Respond quickly to production issues to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.

Preventative Maintenance

• Develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Perform inspections, lubrication, adjustments, filter changes, functional testing, and component replacements.
• Maintain HVAC and dehumidification systems to ensure proper climate and moisture control throughout the facility.
• Document completed work, repairs, and equipment status.

Facility & Building Maintenance

• Perform general building maintenance and facility upkeep.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal operational impact.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address emergency maintenance situations when necessary.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveyors and mechanical equipment, HVAC systems.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480V systems and 3-phase motors.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Ability to participate in an on-call maintenance schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food, beverage, supplement, or processing manufacturing environments.
• HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience supporting climate-controlled production facilities.
• Previous emergency or on-call maintenance experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

Work Environment

• Food and beverage manufacturing facility
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Shifts scheduled within a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM operating window
• Typical shift length: 8-10 hours
• Climate- and moisture-controlled production environment
• Non-smoking facility
• PPE required (hair net, coat, gloves, booties, and other required safety gear)
• Regular work around industrial equipment, conveyors, mixers, HVAC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and 480V/3-phase electrical systems
• NDA required due to proprietary manufacturing processes and formulas

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buda, TX.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
