Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a surgical unit specializing in ENT, general surgery, bariatric surgery, and head and neck surgery
• Care for patients with tracheostomies and laryngectomies, monitoring for complications and changes in condition
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and execute physician-ordered care plans for post-surgical patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Demonstrated experience as a surgical RN with strong clinical skills in a surgical setting
• Experience caring for patients with tracheostomies and/or laryngectomies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ENT, head and neck, or bariatric surgical nursing
• Familiarity with post-operative care protocols for complex surgical patients
