It's an exciting time to join our business because Crown offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in an expanding industry.Crown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long-term future.Job DescriptionDuties/Responsibilities of this position include:CNC Machinist capable of running both Lathes and MillsCandidate should be proficient in operating various machine/control configurations and have experience in the manufacture of tool and die parts.Works with minimal supervisionSetup tooling and specified cutters as requiredPerform simple programming changes and edits to maximize productivity, and read and interpret Engineering drawingsPerform frequent checks of parts to ensure dimensional requirements are metSummary of essential job functions:Setup of machine including parts and toolingMake modifications to programs where neededVerify first part qualificationPerform preventative maintenance to equipment including daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and checksCarnaudMetalbox Engineering (CMB Engineering) designs, develops, and manufactures high-performance metal forming and finishing machinery for the production of beverage, food and aerosol cans.
