The Shift Leader is responsible for effectively leading Sully's Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager/AGM.

Company Overview

Sully's Steamers creates delicious sandwiches by placing excellent ingredients between two halves of a bagel. The sandwich is placed in a steamer, creating a hot, melty, tasty meal that no other concept creates. Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. As well as maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
• Follow up with employees on assigned tasks and monitor training of employees during shifts.
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
