Seven Healthcare is currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit in Mayfield, Kentucky. Role Overview

As a Med-Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a range of medical and post-surgical conditions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care throughout the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med-Surg patients in line with clinical protocols and best practice standards
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and clinical progress, escalating concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with prescriptions
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within electronic health records
• Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and discharge planning
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and clinical emergencies

Requirements

• Active BLS and ACLS certification
• Valid Kentucky RN license or Compact State RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med-Surg nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced hospital environment
