ICU Nurse Practitioner - Night Shift, Level III Trauma (Up to 14 Shifts/Month)


StaffMed Health Partners is proud to partner with a community healthcare organization in North Texas that is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or experienced APP with ICU background for a full-time Night Shift ICU Intensivist APP role at our Level III Trauma facility in Greenville, Texas.


Practice Highlights

• Night shift ICU coverage
• 12-hour shifts
• Full-time schedule averaging 14 shifts per month
• Self-scheduling available
• Two weekends per month required
• Holiday coverage rotation included

Clinical Responsibilities:

• ICU admissions and management of critically ill patients
• Responding to and assisting with codes
• Performing procedures independently, including:
  • Intubations
  • Central lines
  • Arterial lines
• Collaboration with 24-hour intensivist physician coverage
• Support hospital admissions as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• ACNP preferred, though experienced APPs with strong ICU background may also be considered
• Prior ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable practicing with autonomy in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
• Night shift experience preferred
