Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / NICU

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Hold shift accountability for providing comprehensive care to NICU patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of neonatal patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education relevant to neonatal intensive care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care within the NICU

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing patients in high-acuity neonatal intensive care environments
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and team dynamics
