Production Employee

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following:

• Sort out dirty linens and place them into large bags for processing
• Run large bags into wash tunnel
• Manually load and unload large commercial washer
• Fill carts from dryer, to empty carts
• Switch out full carts for empty carts
• Keep up with linens as they exit the dryer in large numbers
• Bundle linens in appropriate stacks

Education and/or Experience Less than high school education; or up to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demand While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; sit; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
