Sr. Industrial Engineer

Senior Industrial Engineer at a medical device company focused on optimizing manufacturing operations through waste elimination and productivity enhancement. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to optimize operational costs and resource utilization
- Conduct time and labor analysis studies to streamline processes and maximize workflow efficiency
- Develop standard work procedures, mistake-proofing techniques, and performance metrics for sustained improvements
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to analyze operations and develop prioritized action plans
- Ensure facility efficiency, workplace safety, and compliance with quality management systems and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 4+ years experience in medical device or related regulated industry
- 4+ years of continuous improvement experience in medical device environment
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts and practices
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and clean room practices
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
