What You’ll Do:

• Perform skilled repairs in plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.

• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and complete work orders efficiently.

• Inspect, test, and coordinate maintenance for fire alarms and elevators.

• Prepare and complete painting projects across a variety of surfaces.

• Diagnose and repair faulty electrical circuits and equipment.

• Keep spaces clean, safe, and free of hazards.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors.

• Follow safety procedures, identify potential risks, and respond appropriately to emergencies.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

• Communicate professionally with staff, residents, families, and visitors.

• Respond to on-call needs, including weekends and holidays.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Associate degree or trade school certification in a maintenance-related field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of three years of experience in building and equipment repair.

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

• Solid computer and communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Willingness to be on call as needed.

• Personal integrity and the ability to work in a mission-driven organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare, campus, or religious environments.

• Ability to lead, train, and support others.

• Appreciation for the traditions and values of the Sisters of Mercy and the Catholic Church.
