Description Lockheed Martin’s Computer Incident Response Team (LM-CIRT) is hiring an Associate Cyber Intel Analyst within its Global Defense and Intelligence mission area. LM-CIRT is a geographically dispersed global workforce that defends the enterprise’s computing assets and intellectual property. What You Will Be Doing Computer network defense and incident response Documentation of analysis at an operational level Creation and maintenance of resilient detections and countermeasures Consistent and effective communication across the team Priority and workload management with established accountability to deliverables Who You Are A junior professional with a solid grounding in cyber‑security fundamentals and a strong understanding of defensive cyber operations and technologies. You think critically about complex cyber‑intelligence challenges and have experience with intelligence‑collection methods, tailored analytical approaches, and extracting actionable insights from large data sets. Further Information About This Opportunity This is a hybrid role with approximately 50% onsite work in Rockville, MD. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required. The position is part of Lockheed Martin’s flexible work schedule program and may include part‑time remote telework. Basic Qualifications Experience or familiarity with security log analysis, memory forensics, and/or detection engineering Knowledge or familiarity with computer network environments Knowledge or familiarity with computer network defense tools (SIEM, EDR, etc.), processes, and tradecraft Critical thinking and problem solving skills Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance Desired Skills In‑depth security log analysis experience Memory forensics experience Reverse engineering experience Programming experience (Python, C/C++, etc.) Detection engineering experience Unix/Bash environments experience Common network protocols and principles (TCP/IP, DNS, SMB, etc.) Unix/Linux experience and command line proficiency Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance and the applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level required: Secret. Work Schedule 4×10 hour days, 3 days off per week Part‑time remote telework may be available in combination with onsite work Salary & Benefits Salary range (excluding most major metropolitan areas): $68,000 – $119,830 annually.
