Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in Cardiovascular Intensive Care to support patient care and clinical operations. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients including CABGs, valve repairs, and transplants
• Utilize circulatory assist devices such as LVAD, RVAD, ECMO, and IABP
• Perform invasive hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive IV medications
• Provide patient-centered care with a focus on recovery for thoracic and vascular surgeries
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including IV teams and respiratory services
• Ensure compliance with all protocols and safety standards in a Level I Trauma facility

Qualifications

• Must have CSICU/CVICU experience at a Level I facility
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Valid RN license in Virginia or compact state
• EPIC charting experience required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• BSN preferred; willing to consider surgical trauma ICU nurses with strong related experience
