Production Scheduler

Fieldbridge is seeking a Production Scheduler to work in Dubois, PA for a global water technology company. Weekly Pay + Benefits Pay and Schedule: $23/hr - $25/hr DOE. 1st shift 7:00 AM-3:00 PM. Great opportunity to do OT, for example, at 25 and 50 hours a week earn weekly paychecks of $1375 gross.

This position plays a critical role in translating production plans into detailed daily and weekly schedules, ensuring materials, labor, and equipment are aligned to meet customer delivery commitments. The Production Scheduler serves as the key link between Production, Planning, Customer Service, and Buyer/Planners to drive efficient shop floor execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed short-term production schedules.
  • Assign daily and weekly work based on labor, equipment capacity, and customer priorities.
  • Monitor production constraints and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Collaborate with Production Supervisors to balance workloads and maximize efficiency.
  • Manage order changes, schedule adjustments, and recovery plans.
  • Support On-Time to Promise (OTP) and On-Time to Request (OTR) performance goals.
  • Work closely with Buyer/Planners to resolve material shortages and supply issues.
  • Communicate schedule status and promise dates to Customer Service teams.
  • Partner with Planning, Production, and Master Scheduling teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Analyze production data and scheduling performance metrics.
  • Qualifications:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
    • Experience in production scheduling, planning, manufacturing, or supply chain.
    • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and shop floor operations.
    • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
