Test Technician
Join a leading fiber optic manufacturer in Tualatin. As a Test Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards before delivery to our customers.
This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity to join a growing team who supports multiple industries such as tech, aerospace and military. They are looking for individuals looking to grow and build their career.
Test Technician Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and optical testing on fiber optic and hybrid cable assemblies using specialized equipment such as OTDRs, power meters, interferometers, and multimeters.
- Interpret test specifications, procedures, and schematics to validate product performance.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and document failures or inconsistencies in cable assemblies.
- Accurately record test results and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve testing processes.
- Maintain, verify, and assist with calibration of test equipment as required.
Test Technician Requirements
- Proof of ITAR documentation
- U.S. Passport
- U.S. Birth Certificate
- Certificate of U.S. Citizenship
- Permanent Resident Card
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cable testing, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment.
- Experience with electrical, electronic, and cable testing, including troubleshooting and schematic interpretation.
- Proficiency using test equipment such as multimeters and fiber optic testing tools.

Pay: $21-26/hr depending on experience
Schedule:
- Primary shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Frequent overtime on Fridays
Location: Tualatin, OR – not accessible by public transit
