Governmental Liability Litigation Associate Locations:

Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, San Diego, Inland Empire, CA (Hybrid) Salary Range:

$125,000 – $180,000 + bonus Our client, a nationally recognized civil litigation defense firm, is seeking a

Litigation Associate (2+ years)

to join its Governmental Entity / Public Agency Defense team in California. This is a unique opportunity to work on

high-impact matters involving public entities and law enforcement liability

, within a collaborative and trial-focused environment.

What You’ll Work On: Defending public entities in matters involving:

Dangerous condition claims Law enforcement liability Education-related disputes

Managing cases from inception through trial Drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings Handling written discovery and depositions Developing and executing litigation strategy Communicating directly with clients and ensuring timely reporting

What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of civil litigation experience Strong discovery, motion practice, and deposition experience Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines Strong client communication and case management abilities JD from an ABA-accredited law school Active California Bar admission Prior law enforcement, military, or criminal defense experience is a plus (not required)
