As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a vital role in our mission to transform lives and make a lasting impact. About the Role As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging, while collecting data on client progress and completing session documentation. Collaboration with supervisors, parents, and team members is essential to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Responsibilities Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment Requirements High school diploma (required); Associate's or Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred) Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete within the first six months of employment) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus, but training is provided for the right candidate Schedule Monday-Friday (Weekends as needed) Up to 25% travel within the Richmond area Why Join Galaxy ABA Therapy Make a lasting impact on children and families Supportive team environment with training and mentorship Flexible weekday schedules, with some weekend options Salary $23 - $28 HOURLY #J-18808-Ljbffr Galaxy ABA Therapy
