Courier/Swing Drvr/DOT-10

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages; checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service features; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; provides related customer service functions; performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High school diploma/GED. Minimum Experience Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages or use equipment for items above 50 lbs with assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials. Job Conditions Neat appearance required for customer contact. Must meet and maintain federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires a medical exam. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record. Non-covered safety‑sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Pay Pay: $22.30 per hour. Additional Details Full‑time, Mon‑Fri 0700‑1900. Desired location: Northwood, OH. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
