Mortgage Loan Officer

Location: Manahawkin, NJ (also Barnegat, NJ) Overview This is a full-time, commissioned career opportunity that can be hybrid based out of Manahawkin or Barnegat, NJ locations. Responsibilities Develops and expands referral sources to solicit first mortgages, maintaining regular contact with Realtors, builders, and developers at open house events and construction sites. Collects and analyzes applicant financial information, interviewing applicants and gathering details on income, assets, debts, credit history, and property characteristics to determine eligibility and recommend appropriate mortgage products. Engages in persuasive sales activities to encourage potential customers to do business with the company and promotes other services and financial products to referral sources. Performs tasks related to loan origination, including obtaining and analyzing financial and credit data, ensuring loan conformity to terms, completing paperwork, and maintaining ongoing communication with customers throughout the process. Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: 1 or more years of recent residential mortgage lending experience. Experience in the Fulton Mortgage Company Associate Mortgage Loan Officer Program may be accepted in lieu of the required experience. Additionally, proven ability to develop referral sources from external contacts and relationships. Pay Transparency This position is fully commissioned.
