Backend Engineer
Engagement: 12 month contract, T&M. Start June 8, 2026. Pacific time zone hours. Location: some positions are Bay Area, CA, onsite hybrid (must be local); others are fully remote, anywhere in the US. Must have: strong Java backend at production scale; Kafka and Flink in production; GraphQL and AWS (ECS/EKS, SQS/SNS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB); Python; SQL. Nice to have: Micronaut; fintech or payments exposure; double entry ledger experience. Time is very much of the essence here, the contract starts June 8, so we are moving fast. To respect your time and mine, the fastest way to test fit is on paper first. If this is something GTT would be interested in doing, and you could share a small, strong batch that genuinely fits the must haves, that would tell us a lot quickly. For each candidate, please include full name and LinkedIn URL, work authorization status and expiry, and years of hands on experience against each must have skill. If the first batch lands well, we will move quickly and open up more volume.
