You will deliver engaging instruction, provide individualized academic support, and help students progress toward GED/HSD completion while strengthening literacy and numeracy skills.This is more than a teaching role—it’s an opportunity to mentor, motivate, and transform lives.What You’ll DoDeliver engaging, student-centered instruction focused on GED/HSD completion and academic growthDevelop individualized learning and achievement plans for studentsProvide case management to track progress and support student successIntegrate applied academics with Career Technical Training (CTT) programsMaintain a structured, positive, and safe classroom environmentSupport and enforce behavioral and academic standardsMentor students using Career Success Standards (PRH guidelines)Monitor, document, and report student progress with accuracy and integrityCollaborate with instructors and staff across departmentsIdentify challenges early and implement effective solutionsSupport overall center performance goals and student achievement outcomesWhat We’re Looking ForPassion for education and student successStrong classroom management and communication skillsAbility to motivate and engage diverse learnersExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsCommitment to accountability, structure, and integrityExperience in education, training, tutoring, or youth development preferredWhy This Role MattersYou’ll be helping students build the academic foundation they need for a successful future—both in education and in the workforce.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution requiredMaster’s degree preferredA valid Maryland teaching license is required and must be obtained to meet employment eligibility requirementsPrevious teaching experience requiredJob Corps experience preferred“Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
