R&D Engineer Intern

Job Description The Energy Science and Power System Division of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking undergraduates to assist ARL engineers in mechanical design and analysis, mechanical assembly, and test & evaluation. This work may include the design, assembly, and testing of prototype hardware. The work site is located several miles off campus. Qualifications Students in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Science and Mechanics. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen. Successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies. Ability to obtain a government security clearance (if required). Requirements Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must undergo a pre‑employment drug screen.
