The Opportunity As a Construction Summer Intern at Black & Veatch (Office Role - Livermore, CA), you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world’s most critical infrastructure challenges. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse, impactful projects that support our clients’ goals while fostering your professional growth and advancing the success of Black & Veatch. As a Construction Intern, you would also assist superintendents in every day task completion. This may include daily reports, material expediting/location, cost/progress reporting, etc. Hands‑on experience at an employee‑owned engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction company. Learning opportunities through mentorship and co/lab trainings. Networking opportunities with leading experts in the industry. Preferred Qualifications Analytical skills Communications skills, both written and oral Initiative Self starter, highly motivated Interpersonal skills Mathematical skills Minimum Qualifications Current enrollment in accredited university in Construction/Management Engineering program.
