This requires interfacing with the electrical PE, project manager, and customer to successfully complete these projects. Must layout, plan, and execute the specific tasks associated with installation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Understand and execute the electrical installation specific to the project managers planBe familiar with the installation drawingsTrack and stage materialsPlan tasks by crewUnderstand and execute to the scheduleProvide field interface with customer’s project representative(s)Project installation planContract change ordersCustomer specifications / standards.Provide technical support for vendors, field installation personnel, and engineering subcontractors as related to inquiries Communicate project specific information with other MHS departments including project management, purchasing, electrical engineering, field installation and fabrication departments.Create material purchase requestsRelate information regarding changes to scope of work for the project as they occur.Maintain project-specific requirements while applying general knowledge of conveying systems, conveying equipment and customer general specifications and standards Be cognoscente of areas for professional development, cost reduction, quality improvements and enhanced customer service Check drawings provided by electrical designers for accuracy and provide feedback for corrections as needed.Key Results:Meet engineering deadlines as set by customer and MHS project management Understand project material requirements and submit for purchase as to meet installation schedule.QUALIFCATIONS:Five years of material handling electrical installation experience A state electrical license Knowledge of:Low and medium voltage power systemsTroubleshooting said power systemsMicrosoft OfficeAbility to:Read, understand and apply customer specificationsCommunicate effectively with customers, vendors and co-workersComplete detail oriented work producing above average resultsOrganize and prioritize a variety of tasks in an effective and timely manner, organize own work, participate in setting priorities and meet critical time deadlinesMust be able to travel to jobsites and customer meetings as required.This job description describes the general nature and level of work expected of a person assigned to this position.
