Schedule/Shift
The position requires a 3x12 hour shift from 0700 to 1930, with on-call, holiday, and weekend requirements. The clinician will be expected to work every 3rd weekend, which may vary depending on vacation schedules.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in this role will float between the Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cardiac Cath Lab departments to respond to urgent and emergent procedural needs, including but not limited to Code Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, and IR Body procedures. The RN will also be responsible for recovering patients from sedation and anesthesia within the department of Radiology.
Responsibilities
- Respond to urgent and emergent interventional procedural needs.
- Monitor and recover patients from sedation and anesthesia.
- Assist with various interventional procedures within both IR and Cath Lab settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
Required Experience
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- NIHSS and PALS certifications are preferred.
- WA state nursing license is required.
