Job Description
Surgical Services Pre/Post Nursing Position

Location

Dublin, GA

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with on-call requirements. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The traveler will be responsible for nursing duties in a pre-operative and post-operative setting, ensuring quality care and patient safety during the surgical process. The position requires collaboration with the surgical team and adherence to facility policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• Monitor patient status and vitals, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy as needed.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient patient flow.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in pre-operative and post-operative settings.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Must be licensed to practice nursing in the state of Georgia.
