We are a rapidly growing company looking for people who are eager to learn, acquire new skills, and have fun in the process while working for a leader in property Restoration Services. $15 - $18/hr based on experience.Why work with us?We offer paid training & F/T hours.Paid time off/ vacation after qualifying periodAdvancement opportunities are available and highly encouraged90-days probationary period, followed by performance based pay increase.Flexible shifts - Participate in an "On Call" rotation for after-hours service calls which involves some weekends and night responsibilitiesLearn and become proficient in water restoration which includes structural drying, contents drying and restoration along with precision demolition and salvage.Learn and become proficient in mold remediation procedures including preparing an area for a post-clearance test to verify our results.Learn and become proficient in fire damage clean-up, smoke and soot removal and deodorization of structural components and contents.The restoration technician delivers water, fire and smoke damage restoration services to our residential and commercial customers. Your daily task might include taking moisture level readings, water extraction, equipment placement, general demolition, detailed cleaning of fire and smoke damaged structures, or packing, inventorying and cleaning of personal property.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers. Load and unload equipment and supplies from the vehicle to the work site. Clear the work site by moving furniture and equipment and restore the work site to the original configuration when the job is complete.Perform regular cleaning services of carpets, upholstery and draperies on an as needed basis.Establish and maintain a service schedule to ensure all service is delivered to meet customer requirements.Follow all Environmental Protection Agency and other applicable federal, state and local regulations for disposal of waste water and chemicals.Comply with all verbal and written safety practices including the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment. Read and comprehend all applicable SDSs for chemicals that require special handling and use of Personal Protective Equipment.Maintain all assigned vehicles and equipment to Company published standards.Perform other duties as required. We will train the right person.Have mid-level computer skills and be familiar with Windows operating systems and email.Functional understanding of PDA's (smart phones).Aptitude for learning new technology and software easily.Proficient in the use of Xactimate would be helpful.Certified in Water restoration (IICRC WTR) is a plusCertified in Applied Structural Drying (IICRC - ASD) is a plusCertified in Applied Microbial restoration (IICRC - AMRT) is a plusAbility & Desire to learn tasks quicklyMust be customer focused, professional appearance, detail oriented, goal oriented, possess a strong work ethic and have a desire to be the best. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. You must be able to pass a criminal background check, have a good driving record, and pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
