You’ll safely navigate the highway and city streets, back into tight docks, and unload with precision. The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.​ /n ​ /n Key Responsibilities​ /n /n - Safe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner​ /n - Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight​ /n - Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures​ /n - Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience​ /n - Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards​ /n - Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable​ /n - Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management​ /n - ​ /n /n Physical Requirements​ /n /n - Lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80 lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required​ /n - Working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10 per shift) required​ /n /n ​ /n Qualifications​ /n /n - Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*​ /n - Must be at least 21 years of age​ /n - Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications​ /n - Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required​ /n - Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations​ /n - Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records​ /n /n ​ /n About US FOODS®​ /n Click here to learn more! ​ /n ​ /n Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation.
