Job Summary and Qualifications The CT Technologist performs technical duties under the direction of the Manager, and/or Medical Director of Radiology and obtains quality diagnostic examinations while maintaining superior patient care and providing excellent customer service to patients, family, and all hospital staff. What You Will Do in This Role As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for the provision of computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. Prepare patients for CT exam, explain procedure and ensure technical quality. Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education. Possess knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to work accurately within the Imaging Department. Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department. Qualifications Associate Degree, Diploma or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology is required. Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT/TMB license is required. Current registration with ARRT(R)(CT) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
