We are seeking an entry-level IT Software Engineer 1 to support software development activities involving operating-system-level software, compilers, network distribution software, and potentially embedded systems software.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who is willing and able to learn new technologies, understands software development processes, and can work effectively in a collaborative environment. The candidate should demonstrate accountability, follow-through, and the ability to participate in software code drops and related development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test operating-system-level software.

• Support development and maintenance of compilers and network distribution software.

• Assist with defining operational specifications and software requirements.

• Analyze software requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Support embedded systems software development as needed.

• Participate in software development, testing, and code-drop activities.

• Work with automation tools and development processes.

• Collaborate effectively with software engineering and cross-functional teams.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through to completion.

• Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and development methodologies.

• Support PLM-related activities and processes.

Basic Qualifications

• A relevant professional certification may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
