Warehouse AttendantWe have an opening for full time WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT positions. Location: Pfizer - 558 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340 Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. More details upon interview. Requirement: Warehouse, receiving, inventory management, and PIV operatoring experience required. Fixed Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour.ESFM is the corporate Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division of Compass Group USA and a Keystone member of the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).Summary: Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Strict adherence to GMP, quality, safety and environmental standards is required.Complete GMP/quality inspections on incoming materials, to include but not limited to API's, Excipients, Raw Materials, Drug Substance, Hazardous Materials, processing aids and packaging components.Perform GMP warehouse infrastructure duties to include; warehouse management, cycle counts, stock rotation, transferring, picking, cleaning, destruction/waste management, segregation of materials, etc.Demonstrates sound understanding and advanced knowledge of GMP practices/concepts and a working knowledge of principles, practices, concepts and operations within other partner disciplines.Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.Places materials/goods on racks, shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves; conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.Marks materials with identifying information.Opens bales, crates and other containers.Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.Uses computer to enter records.Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.Drives vehicle to transport stored items or to pick up items.Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.Prepares parcels for mailing.Maintains inventory records.Performs other duties as assigned.Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.Associates at ESFM are offered many fantastic benefits.Full-time and part-time positions offer the following benefits to associates: Retirement Plan, Associate Shopping Program, Health and Wellness Programs, Discount Marketplace, Identity Theft Protection, Pet Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, including Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Legal Services, and Choice Auto and Home ProgramFull-time positions also offer the following benefits to associates: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance/AD, Disability Insurance, Commuter Benefits, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Associates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
