Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 26‑week assignment in Gladstone, Oregon. Position Details Start Date: 05/18/2026 Duration: 26 weeks Hours: 40 per week, 8‑hour shifts Shift: daytime Employment Type: Travel Location: Facility in Gladstone, Oregon Responsibilities Assess patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities. Participate in discharge planning and transition follow‑up. Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Proficiency in PC skills. Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment 50‑100 lbs, push, pull, bend. Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel. Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and equipment use. Mental resilience to handle frequent public contact and deadlines under pressure. Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Physical therapy experience; new graduates welcome. Additional certifications or licenses. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication. Strong patient care and clinical skills.
