Medical Office Administrative Assistant
Location: NYC
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.55/hr
We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Administrative Assistant to support a busy healthcare department. This role acts as a liaison between patients and physicians while providing essential administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients, medical providers, and staff professionally
- Complete patient forms and obtain medical records
- Process prescription renewal requests
- Answer phones, route messages, and provide excellent customer service
- File medical and administrative correspondence
- Support daily medical office operations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 2+ years of administrative/clerical experience (medical office experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette
