RN - NICU

Registered Nurse - Level 1B NICU

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Level 1B NICU team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for late preterm babies and those with health issues, utilizing the latest technology and techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care in a Level 1B NICU setting.
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as Transient Tachypnea and blood sugar stabilization.
• Provide respiratory support as needed, including high flow nasal cannula therapy.
• Utilize advanced technology, including cardiopulmonary monitors and IV infusion pumps.
• Implement care approaches for infants exposed to opioids in utero, specifically using the Eat, Sleep, Console method.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of current NICU experience, with Level 1B or higher experience required.
• Meditech Expanse experience preferred.
• Must have an active Massachusetts RN license.
• Current certifications in BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required.
• Experience with blood sugar stabilization and respiratory support for newborns is required.

Schedule:

This position involves a shift from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM and may require every other weekend and holiday shifts as needed.
