Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

The selected candidate will work day shifts that consist of either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM and 7 PM, including weekends as needed. It is important for the candidate to be available until the last patient is cared for. Call duties are required with a 30-minute response time.

Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine their compatibility. If they pass the clinical fit assessment and meet the regulatory guidelines, they will proceed to an interview with the management team.

Minimum experience required:

• 2 years of relevant nursing experience

Certifications required:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional requirements:

Epic experience is required. The maximum allowable time for requests for time off (RTO) is 7 days. Weekend coverage is required as needed, and candidates will be assigned to one of six call teams, potentially working no more than every 6th weekend. There are no holiday commitments, and flexibility to float to other areas may be necessary.

Unit information:

The Invasive Cardiology unit features:

• 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs
• 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs
• 2 shared catheterization and electrophysiology labs
• 33 prep/recovery bays

This unit performs over 6,000 procedures per year and provides advanced cardiovascular treatments, including:

• Complex coronary procedures
• Ventricular assist device (VAD) and ECMO
• Structural heart procedures like TAVR and left atrial appendage occlusion
• PFO/ASD closure and mitral valve clipping
• Complex atrial and ventricular ablations
• Pacemaker/ICD implant and explantation
• Cardioversion
• Pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation
• Peripheral interventions and pulmonary embolectomy procedures
