Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position requires working 12-hour weekend night shifts, from Friday to Sunday, 1900-0730. As a Telemetry RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesMonitor patients' heart rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment.Assess patient conditions and respond to changes in status.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement in patient care.QualificationsAssociate's degree in nursing from an accredited program.Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing.Current RN license in Kansas and BLS certification.Additional RequirementsFloating to other units may be required based on divisional needs, including acute care or overflow/surge units.This role requires working every weekend as scheduled.Availability to work during major holidays is required; two major holidays must be selected from designated groups.This is a nicotine-free facility.Orientation and TrainingThe selected candidate will participate in a comprehensive orientation program, including:KU NEO on Monday and Tuesday of the starting week.KU DON training on Wednesday and Thursday.Virtual EPIC training on Friday.Credentialing ExpectationsAll credentialing requirements must be completed by the specified deadlines, including background checks and laboratory work within 72 hours of acceptance.
