OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Arlington Heights, IL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate nationwide dry van routes out of Arlington Heights, IL for HMD, delivering consistent freight with a driver-first approach. You’ll use modern tractors (under three years) featuring APUs, inverters and sleepers, backed by in-house maintenance and reliable routing.

Key duties:

• Safely handle OTR dry van runs and cargo securement on long-haul lanes.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, accurate logs and regulatory paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch to maintain schedules and delivery performance.

Eligibility & pay:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience required. Compensation begins at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles; bonuses and full benefits included, home every two weeks.
