Paramedic – Emergency Care Location: Lagrange, GA, USA Responsibilities Communicate verbally in crisis situations with team members, patients, and family members to produce quality interactions. Work collaboratively with EMT or Paramedic partners to develop solutions to unique problems, respecting input and achieving common goals. Adhere to safety policies and procedures and act safely at all times, including accident scenes, businesses, and homes. Apply job knowledge within the appropriate guidelines and scope of practice for the Paramedic role; do not operate outside the scope without online medical direction from the ED physician. Maintain accurate supply levels and use equipment only for intended purposes; comply with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and codes of conduct. Prepare clear, accurate reports and utilize judgment and decision‑making skills. Demonstrate customer service skills and effective written communication. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED), general or accredited program acceptable. Minimum of 1 year as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Knowledge of Paramedic scope of practice and EMS protocols. Strong teamwork and communication abilities. Compliance with safety policies and financial stewardship practices.
