Nite Lines USA is looking for a PRN Case Manager to join our team!

• This position will be working for DFCS in the CPS unit with Newton County. Must have previous DFCS knowledge and experience preferred.
• The position will be PRN; duration of the assignment will be 90 days. This can be a W2 position or a 1099 independent contractor, 1099 requires an LLC.

Compensation: $32.50 per hour / 1099

$30.00 per hour / W2

CPS is our front door, it is busy and fast paced with many urgent deadlines. I am seeking a person that is organized with good time management and assessment skills. The responsibility is to go out and assess allegations of abuse and neglect make determination on the safety of children. Applicant will work 40hrs a week with no approved overtime. Consistent structure with being in the office each morning by 8:30 and using protective time for the first two hours of the day documenting and working cases prior to going out into the field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accesses and records client and community resource information
• Assists in collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing necessary reports according to rules and regulations, state and federal laws
• Assists in identifying placement resources for children within the foster care system
• Compiles records and prepares reports; performs follow-up to determine the status of client's case
• Conducts home-visit evaluations for information gathering to be used in assessments
• Coordinates and monitors children in out-of-home placements and in-home interventions
• Learns to perform initial investigations of protective services referrals in determining the appropriateness of protective services intervention
• Learns to work in collaboration with legal system to ensure safety and achieve desired outcomes
• Maintains required documentation and completes reports

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Clean Background Report (No prior criminal history)
• Must be very familiar with CPS investigations.

Mileage will be reimbursed for travel to visits. $0.725/mile
