Our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Companys premier vacation brands including Disneys Parks & Resorts worldwide Disney Cruise Line Aulani A Disney Resort & Spa and Disney Vacation Club.

We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest and Cast experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment Food & Beverage Resorts & Transportation PhotoPass and Merchandise lines of business which includes Room and Tickets eCommerce and products such as Hey Disney! MagicBand Disney Genie and Disney Genie.

The Lead Product Manager is responsible for managing the strategic direction of technology and digital experience for the Disney Cruise Line business. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Management the Lead Product Manager collaborates with leadership to establish and execute commercial strategies across latest technologies.

Key Areas of Focus include

• Working with multiple products teams and interdisciplinary leaders in such areas as line of business Marketing Sales Technology Operations Project Management Design and Analytics to bring strategies to market that support business opportunities and enhance the digital Guest experience and increase online conversions and revenue.

• Developing product strategies and implementation of capabilities and tactics that align with our strategic priorities key performance indicators and objectives & key results as defined by the business and our Technology & Digital organization.

• Monitoring business and digital trends Guest behaviors and expectations emerging technologies and competitive intelligence to establish and prioritize the digital roadmap.

• Cultivate a strong understanding of key performance indicators and regularly analyze weekly reports to detect trends and identify opportunities for enhancing digital performance.

Responsibilities

• Work to gather requirements for all aspects of complex projects collaborating with all impacted teams including creative and technology for agreement.

• Drive implementation of a business digital and technology roadmap by ensuring the development teams understand the product goals and priority.

• Document features by translating the product concepts into user stories epics and other appropriate product deliverables (e.g. project briefs scope/requirement documents Guest prioritized needs etc.)

• Primary representative for product management in all daily activities related to the roll-out of a product/enhancement serving as an important resource for the team escalating to leadership.

• Lead the defect triage activities by working with technical creative and production teams to identify cause through resolution providing support and escalation for blockers/impediments.

• Communicate with partners of multiple levels across Digital & Technology and the broader Disney organization through several mediums (ie. presentations email formal/informal meetings).

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of product management experience in digital customer experience for a global or national brand(s) working with technology design project management business and user experience teams.

• Lead others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.

• Ability to use hard data to form assumptions and develop business cases.

• Experience presenting out on Product performance and success of programs.

• Ability to think strategically and guide ideas into action with a willingness to take personal initiative.

• Experience collaborating with and achieve results through partnerships with others and the capability to interact within all leadership levels.

• Experience identifying technical user and business issues in a organization. Experience with Agile software development methodology.

• Consumer digital commerce platform experience is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years experience in the digital industry
• Entrepreneurial mindset proactive thinker with the ability to thrive in an often
  ambiguous fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and financial skills.

• Experience with innovative and emerging technologies.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in relevant field of study or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Orlando FL is $148300 - $198800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience
among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to the full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the level and position offered.
