Clinical Account Executive Hereditary Cancer - Houston, TX

Clinical Account Executive position focused on expanding hereditary cancer genetic diagnostic testing sales in the Houston territory. The role involves building relationships with hospital and physician networks, managing existing accounts, and driving adoption of new testing services through consultative sales.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned sales territory and grow revenue through existing and new account development
- Present clinical and financial benefits of genetic testing services to physicians, lab staff, and genetic counselors
- Expand testing menu utilization and negotiate customer contracts
- Introduce and drive adoption of new assays and diagnostic products
- Achieve sales targets and maintain customer data in company CRM system
Requirements
- 3+ years selling laboratory services to clinicians, hospitals, or medical devices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined professional experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms
- Demonstrated track record closing complex laboratory testing sales across specialties
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and territory management skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to reside in designated Houston territory
