Job Description

This role focuses on assembling and testing components and circuit board kits by reading and interpreting basic wiring drawings and schematics. You will perform soldering, wiring, crimping, and simple mechanical assembly while ensuring high-quality, reliable assemblies. The position operates on a steady daylight schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic wiring drawings
• Populate bare printed circuit boards by following written instructions, including laying out all components and parts prior to assembly.
• Perform through-hole and/or surface-mount soldering on circuit boards in accordance with industry standards.
• Use handheld and automatic crimping tools to install contacts on wires and assemble wiring harnesses.
• Install connectors on multi-conductor wires and ensure secure, reliable terminations.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience working from basic wiring drawings and electrical schematics to assemble components or kits.
• At least 1 year of soldering experience on circuit boards.

Work Environment

You will work in a nice, clean warehouse and assembly environment, with both areas fully climate controlled for comfort throughout the year. The position follows a consistent daylight schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, supporting a predictable work-life rhythm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apollo, PA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apollo, PA.
