Job Responsibilities

• Perform extensive patient evaluations, encompassing thorough physical examinations and comprehensive detailing of medical histories
• Support the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions, interpreting imaging studies and lab results effectively
• Work in tandem with surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, assuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently managing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, such as administering medications, managing wound care, strategizing discharge plans, and educating patients

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physician Assistant
