Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Labor & Delivery RN with experience in high-risk obstetrics, antepartum, triage, OR circulation, neonatal care, and proficiency in Epic EHR. Must demonstrate the ability to manage high-volume deliveries and adapt to various clinical environments within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients, ensuring safe labor, delivery, and postpartum management.
• Monitor fetal well-being continuously using intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring techniques, adhering to AWHONN standards.
• Circulate in the OR during cesarean sections and assist with emergent procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all clinical interventions and patient responses accurately in Epic EHR.
• Float to postpartum units if required, providing consistent patient care across departments.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license with Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent L&D experience in a hospital setting with at least 150 births per month.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, with active AHA or ARC cards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring (AWHONN certified preferred).
• Ability to work every other weekend and willingness to float to postpartum.
• Successful completion of onboarding modules and work history verification within required timelines.
