Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 20, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit with cardiac population; Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:3-4

Highlights:

• Hybrid unit combining stepdown and telemetry with medical/surgical patient population
• Cardiac-focused care including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain patients
• Experience managing cardiac drips required (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
• May float to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity patients
• Opportunity to work in a large, high-volume acute care facility
• Dynamic clinical environment ideal for experienced progressive care nurses

Requirements:

• Current Georgia RN license or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or stepdown experience in a similar-sized facility
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and critical drip management
• Professional badge photo and complete demographic information required upon submission
