Clinical Research Assistant - Neurology (Parkinson's Disease Center)

The Clinical Research Assistant in the Neurology Parkinson's Disease Center is responsible for scheduling, recruitment, evaluation, education of patients for clinical trials, documentation, and assisting the research team.

Job Duties

• Recruit and educate patients for clinical trials.
• Schedule clinical trial patients for various assessments required by studies.
• Evaluate potential patient eligibility for clinical trials.
• Maintain source documents and case report forms (CRF's) for clinical trials.
• Perform subject visits procedures as needed.
• Provide written and verbal reports to Principal Investigator and Project Manager.

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience in the medical field. Relevant education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Certified Nursing Aid.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Associate degree(s) in related field.

Work Experience:

• Experience working in the Neurology field.
• Experience working with Parkinson's Disease patients.

Compensation Statement:

The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
